Handsome Barney's previous owners made the selfless decison to rehome this lad as they realised it was unfair on him being left alone during the day. In his new home he has a new boxer sister, Daisy, to keep him company and his new nan and grandad live at home too so he always has company.

Nelly went off to her new home at the beginning of Sept and already her family feel like she's been there forever. She's great with the kids (even if she does win all their races!) and has made new friends in the form of Roxy the Doberman at her nannie's
Her mum and dad are working with her to overcome her anxiety when she's left and so far she's coming on leaps and bounds!

"Well we have only had Frazer 2 weeks and it seems like hes always been here. He's fitted in so well, he enjoys 4 walks a day 3 feeds a day and is now gaining weight well, his blood tests for his epilepsy showed hes under control and has only suffered 1 seizure. He's like my shadow. He's mastered the art of using the sofa and rug as a napkin after his mackrel dinner!! He loves to play with my 4 yr old son, he's very interested in the guinea pigs and sits like a statue watching them. He sleeps in our room and snores like a trooper, then breaks wind and looks at me in disgust!!! He's really intrigued with bath time, he loves to sit at the bath side licking bubbles off who ever is in there. He's such an adorable boy I couldnt imagine life without him, it was fate that we met, he came into my work for castration and the rest is history. Thank you also to all the help and support we have recieved from Sharon at boxer rescue. Love a v v v happy Vine family. xxx "

"Kira has settled in great as if she has been here forever, she is putting on weight and enjoying the long walks although she is not too keen on playing or fetching a ball it's too boring!! She is fine with our house rabbit couldn't be bothered with her to be honest (thank goodness) although she tries to steal her carrots ! (doesn't know what to do with them though). She is very sneaky always trying (and succeeding) to get on the sofa's and anyone's bed if they happen to leave door open! But we love her to bits and wouldn't be without her."
Lady was one of the very first dogs to be re-homed through Boxer Dog Rescue Northern England. She was sooooo pretty that we decided to make her the rescue mascot and she now adorns all of our official merchandise, the web site header and all of our stationery. Her new mum - Claire - is also part of the BDRNE committee so we are lucky enough to stay in contact with this lovely girl on a regular basis.
She has taken to her new home like a duck to water. She enjoys long walks on the beach and galloping through the nearby forest with her new friend Sam (the blonde in the 3rd photo). Since being with us we quickly discovered her love for swimming (and water in general) no puddle too small to paddle in, no lake too big to swim across! She's been here almost a month and we cannot believe how lucky we are to have such a loving and well behaved little girl. It's like she's been here for years.
Thelma came into rescue in November 2007 when we were notified that she was on death row in the pound and her time was up. She came into foster with one of the BDRNE team who almost immediately failed as a foster carer - she just could not let her leave.
Thelma had been found straying and had been picked up by the dog warden. We know nothing of her history other than when she came to us she had very recently had puppies - in fact she still had milk. She was so emaciated that we thought we would lose her and many nights were spent sitting on the kitchen floor just nursing her back to health.
She has now lives with her new mum and dad, Elvis the boxer & Polly the cat and she has regained all of her weight - some would say too much! She is a bundle of joy and never wants to leave her new mum's side.

Oscar has landed right on his paws in his new home, his new mum and dad love him to bits, and he also has a new 4 legged sister, the lovely Tessie the labrador.
The lovely Bert & Ernie went off to their new home in March 2008, they have settled in well and have definitely claimed their new house as their own (by eating a couch or two). They are much loved boys and couldnt be happier with their new mum and dad.

Lexus is loving her new life and she is doing great , its as if she has always been part of the family.

"We have Lexus who we have had since she was 8 months old ........how did it all happen ? Well it all happend pretty quickly , we filled the form out got home checked in a week , Nicky then sent a photo to us , which i showed to the kids and that was that , they fell in love with her.The following weekend we jumped in the car and drove 300 miles to Liverpool and then drove the 300 miles back home , we got back home at tea time and walked into the house, she went over to the kids and made a fuss of them as if she had always been part of the family, the rest is history.

Lexus has cost us a fortune over the months with her like for chewing:
the above is to name just a few. Would we swap her? NEVER!! This little girl has found her forever home with Nicky and the teams help and is loved by everyone who meets her."
Bailey has settled in great. He's got his own spot on the couch. Sleeps in his bed in his new sister Maeghan's room and occaisionally creeps on the bed during the night for a warm and a cuddle. When the alarm goes off in the morning the Bailey alarm follows shortly after as he visits every room and wakes everyone up one by one with a big slobbery kiss.

Wes's new family are besotted with him. He has a great life and is now hardly ever left alone. He goes to work and he even goes out to the pub with his new mum & dad!
Wes has also got himself a new baby sister called Roxy courtesy of BDRNE. She suffered terrible skin conditions but her new mum and dad have that sorted and she is a very happy girl. She has developed a heart condition which means she is not allowed to get too excited or she will faint. That is proving hard to manage because she now loves life so much. Despite this, her new mum and dad love her very much - and so does Wes!

Ruby (ali) is doing great, she has settled down really well. She went to Ireland at New Year and she travelled brilliantly. She really enjoyed the beach and everything on it especially the sea weed! although she wasn't keen on the sea. All in all she is great, she has a lovely temprament, good with children and other dogs.
The lovely Star is a very pretty boxer cross who was in the dog pound and due to be PTS before Boxer Dog Rescue Northern England came to the rescue. She was incredibly skinny after straying and it took us some time to get her back to fitness. She has finally found a great new home where she has settled well, after a few initial teething problems which we worked with her new owners to eradicate.
Hattie & Aggie are doing very well. They have a lovely new home, with a lovely new Belgian Shepherd Sister!. Both girls are very happy & settling well.

What a character this boy is, such a chatterbox! He went off to his new home in October and has a new boxer sister, the lovely Molly. Molly loves Lenny although he winds her up all the time they have a good wrestle at least once a day which is enough to wear her out. Like most boxers he thinks he is a lap dog and has to touch all the time! Him and Jasper (parrot) are fascinated with one another some times not in the best way but mostly very good, Jasper tells him "no" if he gets to close and to "sit". He has a fantastic new home and is a big part of the family.
This lovely girl sure lives up to her name, she went off to her new home in December, she enjoyed her first christmas in her new home and was spoilt by everyone.

Hagler has settled in well, he is a very good boy and a pleasure to have around. He loves his walks (at least 4 times a day) especially his early mornings when he goes to the park to meet his friends and is let of his lead so he can have a good run around and play with them. He always comes back as soon as you call him as recall is something he has learnt at training classes (which he attends twice a week).
Haglers favourite time of the week is when he goes to watch his two legged brother play football on sat afternoons and early sun morning.
Hagler has the run of the house at all times and has a nice cosy bed in the corner of the living room but he chooses to go to bed at night and sleep with his 2 legged brother. So over all Hagler is a very happy and content handsome boy who has fitted into his new home perfectly and is already loved dearly by everyone.

Sasha and Winston have been in their new home for a while now and are doing well.
Sasha is full boxer and Winston, her lifelong companion, is a white bulldog and is completely deaf. That isn't a problem when you have a sister like Sasha to lend you her ears!
What a character Winston is turning out to be! He's like a little naughty child. He loves going to lie down in the river then comes flying out like a little white bullet! Sasha is also doing really well and her training is coming along nicely, she can now be let offlead on walks and comes back when called.
